It is never too late to start a journal of your life and get started telling your own one-of-a-kind story; everyone has something special to share. Throughout the course of your life, you have been exposed to a great number of experiences. It is time to begin the process of preserving those memories so that you can recall them later in life and share them with your loved ones and close friends.
Many years ago, I started a blog, and ever since then, I've made it a habit to carry a personalized journal/planner with me wherever I go.
As a result, I'm encouraging people who are just starting out in the blogosphere to also start their own personal journal/planner. With such a diverse range of opportunities available, there is no excuse for you to delay getting started RIGHT NOW. You might choose to begin writing in the form of a journal or diary. This would most likely be done in your own words and be highly personal.
Writing about your life's experiences is a form of expressing your own thoughts about your daily life. In addition, you might look into the possibility of compiling a family history. This enables you to delve even further into the history of your family.
A planner is a useful tool for me (those yearly planners). I've tried them all, from daily (one day per page) planners to monthly (entire month per page) planners, and the only ones that have stuck have been weekly planners (which have enough space to write a to-do list but also enough overview of your week so you can plan ahead). It's been incredibly useful for making sure I don't overbook myself on the weekends and pay bills on time, among other mundane but important tasks. Also, your personality will play a large role in determining whether a paper planner or an electronic one works best for you. Since I work better with paper, I keep a planner journal.
I purchased my own personal planner from ChyNahine. She is also the one who made my personal planners for 2021 and 2022, giving them the color and design that I chose.
Why was it bought? Why not make your own version instead? For the past few years, I've been responsible for creating my own journal planner. But as time passes and my hectic schedule continues, I find that I don't have enough time to shop for the supplies that are necessary for my planner. As a result, I made the decision to have someone personalize my planner for me.
I chose wisely, too. This saves me time and money, and I only have to pay P280 for it.
My overstuffed 2022 agenda is about to be retired. Saluting the year 2023 and welcoming it to my life!
Blogging is the reason why I am hooked into journalizing. Writing becomes easier having a journal.
From years of blogging, there was so much to do to clear out of my head, and I wanted to start with a good number of posts before sharing it to my social media platforms. Having a journal, is a great help because I had to create a schedule to produce a good article consistently.
To start my year, I need to have a journal that I really want, a touch of personalize journal – not just a simple diary with friends and family. I want it more flexible and fabulous planner with my MONTHLY & WEEKLY calendar spread and I needed a way to keep track of it all!
How can I do that? How do I even figure out what is working? On top of all this, as a WAHM I have to also keep track of ideas and financials. I searched for a personalize journal online there are bazillion to choose from, but none of them were meeting my needs (I'm on a tight budget though), so I need to have a journal that meets my budget too!
Then, I was introduced to the Chyrel Nahine journal through a Facebook post by a friend. And I love her lists and was intrigued by her works, but I am a visual person – I need to see her works personally, but it's pandemic so I message her and ask about her journal. She sends me a video showing what inside her personalized journal. And it is exactly what I needed to get a handle on my blog tracking and ideas all in one spot. Future planning, performance tracking, promotions, financials, Korean Drama list, etc.
If you've never seen it before, here is My Personalized Journal for 2021 from my YouTube channel.
A Personalized Journal is Perfect for as WAHM especially mom's who are working multi-functional.
Write want you want.
As a Blogger, having a journal is a must. It's part of my work to track everything. If you are familiar with a Bullet Journal it's like that.
Though some journal will look the same but mine is customized. Because I got the chance to say what I want, what will be the outcome. Overwhelmed with the result, every detail is well sorted. Yes, my journal is ready and was personalized by me!
Planning to have your own journal? Managing once activities every single detail includes simple planning ahead and tracking your accomplishments. This will help and guide you to be flexible and save time in scheduling posts and plan weeks or months in advance. Just like me, while watching Korean drama and eating pizza is much more pleasurable because all are given time on what to do next. Having the journal it helps me make changes on what are my priorities. I can see and compare the results with my Monthly and Weekly trends.
From MONTHLY, WEEKLY & NOTES all your screens on one journal.
Nowadays, you can't find a simple & cheaper Personalized Journal. This kind of a journal for as WAHM & as Blogger are going to save time & money. To write, video blog, etc., is a task that needs attention.
YEAR PLANNER BY MONTH
A day to day monthly outline that can be seen at-a-glance after you open the Journal cover. Here, I can see what is scheduled for the day, such as birthdays, anniversary, holidays, important meetings and occasions. What I do that day, like paying bills and/or going to the bank or insurance.
MONTHLY PLANNER BY WEEK
A day to day weekly outline. As for now, I am listing all my ongoing Korean Drama per episode I've watched. By February, I'm going to list all my upcoming and ongoing Paid, Guest and Sponsored Collaboration with foreign clients and companies.
At the lower part of my journal is the IMPORTANT PLAN. Here, I'm going to put my BILL PAYMENT PER MONTH and EXPENSES.
NOTES
This is where I will put my Blog Tracking and Miscellaneous files and accounts. It will be my used section of the journal, wherein I'll draw bullet to log or mark my Monday to Sunday schedules in posting if they're done or not. A place of notes, like quotes, Bible verses, blog title, vlog planners, playlists, my reshares of current and older blog posts and/or sample of conversation starters, etc.
It's hard to keep track of all my blog ideas as well as my work as Social Media Manager and Copywriter. I have three sites to handle, that's why I have multiple threads going at once in my journal. So maybe I'll add here my ideas on each blog site, some post-it notes all over.
As I said, the journal becomes my social media companion as a Virtual Worker. It helped me become more consistent, organized, well-planned person and that made me a Journal Enthusiasts. If you want this Personalized Journal, just message @chyrel.nahine FACEBOOK account. Hope my journal can help you with some ideas on how you can maximize time, grow your blog as well as balanced your lifestyle.
I believe that part of my calling here on Earth is to help people to connect through their ideas and vision in life. And by putting all their and my stories in a journal is a part telling the world my journey in life.
2020 was a year or uncertain and consecutive challenges. We spent most of our days in isolation that we've almost lost track of time. As we try to regain some balance and slowly recover from how the lockdown has affected our lives, we turn to building good habits that can help us cope and emerge stronger than before. One of then is through than before. One of them is through journaling.
Medical experts and psychologists have reminded us that keeping a journal may actually help boost our mental health by helping us gain control of our emotions and plans. Here, we have listed down FIVE more things that you can do better when you have a journal.
It helps you acknowledge and process your feelings better. We are coming from a time of emotional rollercoaster and situations that we are not really built for. Close interactions now scare us. We feel fear the moment we envision what the future holds for us. Some days, we feel grateful and moved by the possibility of caring from a distance. We miss the beach, we long for get-togethers.
It may sound like a lot of feelings, but there's actually more – and it's okay to admit that they're quite difficult to absorb. Writing short notes per day can help you acknowledge and embrace those emotions as they come. Somehow, we don't get too overwhelmed when we have a personal avenue to express ourselves, giving us more time to reflect and breathe.
We love how the The Belle De Jour Power Planner Earth concept and empowering designs remind us that we’re in the process of being whole again. It’s perfect for those who are still learning more about themselves, and eager to thrive amidst the chaos.
It helps you live in the present. A lot of thoughts and experiences from the past consume us, and sometimes they make us feel drained than inspired. Writing about your daily plans or stories allows you to live your life consciously, and Everything Is Possible planner’s breakthrough theme for the coming year goes well with this purpose.
It inspires you to think about what you can do now, instead of what you could have done. It can help lighten the burden on your shoulders and prepare you for what’s ahead. In the process of living in the moment, you can discover new skills, abilities, interests, and goals, too.
Journaling helps you keep track of your responsibilities and needs. Majority of our tasks are now done online. Whether your company has decided to extend the work-from-home setup, or you’re attending online classes, this virtual transition is quite hard to deal with. It’s more difficult to keep track of time, projects, and goals, and further envision how they would unfold in real life. But this is the part where planners can make the management of our day-to-day tasks easier.
We can quickly identify significant dates and update our progress from time to time. Our days can be quite full, so it is really nice to have a journal that leaves ample space for you to jot down ideas just like the Focus planner. Its pages are decorated with the sacred geometry of Icosahedron, a three-dimensional figure that is made of 20 triangle-shaped sides, to represent change, movement, and flow. Those on the minimalist side may appreciate the elegance of the Essentials planner’s Art Deco-inspired designs, too.
It helps you reconnect with people. Keeping a journal is not just about how you can hustle or manage your own life. It’s personal, and a huge part of our existence depends on people, relationships. Living more consciously means assessing our connections with our loved ones every now and then.
Maybe it’s time to catch-up with your friends or colleagues? Or maybe it’s time to schedule that talk with your boss? If you’re the type of person who keeps on forgetting the exact dates of your friends’ birthdays, then advanced journal entries can serve as your little reminders, too. The minimalist, portable Petit planner is just what we need for this purpose so we can see what matters in one glance. Now that we have fewer physical interactions or brunch dates, it’s important to find new ways to maintain our relationships.
Journaling makes you care for yourself even more. What many people don’t realize is that journals help you give yourself the complete care that it needs. Doctors emphasize that it is now more vital to monitor physical conditions on our own. You can maximize those blank pages by writing down how you’re feeling (a symptom tracker, maybe?), so you can also respond to what your body needs.
This also applies to our emotional and mental wellbeing. Expressing your emotions or sharing some experiences can help you identify the kind of self-care that works for you. The lighthouse-themed NAVI journal reminds us that we’re still trying to navigate this life, but eventually we’ll find the path that is meant for us.

I guess this month is the busiest month to all bloggers! Considering the entire pack of events, making day-to-day posts, social media marketing, and administering Facebook Page as part of blogging syndication, making a product review wherein many companies are coming out with a desired to be featured in any blog post and getting the last minute shopping in time for a year end SALE. The question is, are you ready for the next year plan? Do you have a planner to organize all your activities? Remember my last year DIY Blog Planner post by Erica Made Designs? This planner totally organized my actions. My monthly activities are entirely written and well taken notes. For me, I love to stay organized for this year 2014, I am going to use the design from THE BLOGGING GARDEN.
I downloaded the free printable blog planner and available that time is theBlogger Planner Cover Page, Blog-To-Do-List Page, Blog Finances Page, Weekly Blog Planner Page and My Monthly Calendar Page. You will need these supplies:
CHIPBOARD
COLORED CARTOLINA
Cute Gift Wrapper or Pretty Paper Good
Puncher
Post Screw
Scissor
Pencil
Ruler
Scotch Tape
Art & Crafts Glue or Pudding Glue
Stickers for decoration
1. Cut a board same ratio size with the papers to be added later. Here I have 8.5" x 11" or a short bond size paper.
2. Cut and cover the cute gift wrapper with the chipboard.
Here I am using the LEEHOART and CRAFT Premium Quality White Glue No-clog applicator.
This is my first time to use this glue. What I like about the product is it dried so fast and its clean. It's not messy and it is safe to use and non-toxic. 3. After covering it, cut a smaller size cartolina just to cover both back end of my cover page chipboard.
You can see here that I use scotch tape just to make sure it will attach things together, to make it more durable. 4. Next is to make a hole for my POST SCREW.
Using a puncher, make a hole for your post screw and line it with a pencil to produce a guide so that your journal will receive a nice lining.
5. Finish product. Yepeehhhh!!!!
I do love scrap booking, it's my way of establishing and expressing my artistry side and at the same time making myself STRESS FREE. Adding more....
