I am so thrilled to received an invitation to the NCCC Christmas lighting event! Experiencing a unique annual event brings me so much joy. This year, the NCCC Mall VP Atrium has been transformed into a magical Candy Cane Wonderland.



Immerse yourself in the enchanting world of  'A Colorful Candy Cane Christmas', where twinkling lights and whimsical decorations create a magical backdrop for customers to enjoy and capture memorable photos. According to Alice Romero, the marketing manager of Malls, the concepts represent a sense of sweetness, warmth, and tradition that the people of Davao City wholeheartedly embrace. She mentioned that "as we emerge from the pandemic, the joyous atmosphere of Christmas rekindles the warmth of the holiday season that we've longed for."

Although I don't have the most stunning photos from the event, I still wanted to share them with you so you can experience the incredible celebration we witnessed.

In attendance were also Mutya ng Dabaw 2023, Ms. Maria Isabel Pelayo, and Hiyas ng Kadayawan 2023, Ms. Kristine Claire Tar, who graced the occasion with their presence during the lighting ceremony celebration.

As part of the NCCC Christmas Gift and Donation Drive, NCCC patrons have the opportunity to contribute by bringing in their new, unwrapped, or gently used toys and clothes to NCCC Mall Buhangin between November 6 and December 15. The distribution of the collected goods to the underprivileged children will be completed on December 17th.
