Apo Agua Infrastructura, Inc. is leading the construction of the Davao City Water District Bulk Water Supply Project in order to expedite its completion and provide 300 million liters of safe water per day to over one million Davaoeños.
Apo Agua reached the choice as a result of delays in the project's construction schedule resulting from issues caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and other internal factors. Prior to this development, the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Contractor for the project, J.V. Angeles Construction Corporation, was in charge of all construction activities.
The primary catch-up plan would involve Apo Agua aggressively pursuing as many construction work streams in tandem with each other as possible. This would be done while Apo Agua was in the lead. Apo Agua aims to finish the project by the end of 2022, despite the fact that the timeline is extremely condensed, taking into consideration a smooth and rapid transition.
