ART WORKS: PARA SA BISAYAS

When Typhoon Yolanda strikes our country and totally damage Tacloban City and every part of barangay in Visayas, millions of millions of HELP from different countries extend their hands to make their donations.

But as our beloved Mayor Rudy Duterte quoted from his last statement during the second batch of Davao Central 911 Search and Rescue Team sent to Tacloban City:

"Only the Filipino can help the Filipino at the end of the day."

In relation to this a non-profit organization lead by different artists from Art Works unite as one to sell their personal artworks and give 100% of the proceeds to the victims of Typhoon Yolanda.

Here are some of the art works from different artists that I randomly selected as my favorite from their Facebook Page.

  1. The first 2 pictures are so powerful. You can really see through how they withstand the disaster and tragedy brought by the typhoon. I hope all of the proceeds will be given directly to the victims.. :)

  4. Superb artworks, unjustly priced. I remember a quote from 9gag.com If I remember it right, it goes like this:
Support the living artist, the dead ones don't need it.

Kudos to the Artist who wholeheartedly offered their talents to show compassion to the victims of Yolanda. :)

  5. They're so talented! BTW I remember an 'artwork' auctioned by Anne Curtis in showtime, it had raised 105k but it was sooo simple. It's like a kid can do that more artistically than Anne's. But the bottom line is, the money went to the victims, still a nice gesture.

  16. There's something about museums and art that's close to my heart. And as a huge fan of expressionism art, the fact that the artist celebrated the life of those who fought to survive the rage of Super Typhoon Yolanda... is really extraordinary.
