I still vividly recall the times when my mother took me to the NCCC supermarket to pick up supplies for our home-run business. I can see quite a few people waiting in line to make a purchase. To me, it seems like a joyous occasion, and I couldn't be more pleased to be with my mother while we go grocery shopping together.
I was 2 years old when the NCCC opened its 1st supermarket and department store at Ramon Magsaysay Avenue, and they named the establishment New City Commercial Center. It was geared toward offering a wide variety of high-quality goods at the lowest price possible, and it was coupled with service that was warm and friendly from the associates working there. They remain committed to their mission of providing Dabawenyos with high-quality service and products at reasonable prices.

At the moment, the corporation operates more than one hundred stores of varying formats spread out across the nation.
Helen's Farm, Great Green Earth, Inc., Pinnacle Agri-Frontiers, Inc., Dos Palmas Arreceffi Island Resort, Inc., and NCCC Cares are some of the business units that are currently part of the NCCC Group of Companies. Tatay and his family did not give up on their dream of making a success of their business, despite the fact that the early years of the company were fraught with a great deal of difficulty. Since then, the company has grown into one of the most important players in the retail industry, not only in Davao City but also across the entire country.

For 44 years, now that they have many branches, I thought that it would lessen the crowd, but it isn't working out that way. I was astounded by the number of people from Mintal who came out to show their support for the opening of the NCCC supermarket and department store in Vista Mall. And I had the opportunity to talk with people who live near the mall, and they couldn't express how happy they are that the NCCC opened its supermarket and department store so close to them. They will find that going to the grocery store and department store is very simple and convenient.
