I still vividly recall the times when my mother took me to the NCCC supermarket to pick up supplies for our home-run business. I can see quite a few people waiting in line to make a purchase. To me, it seems like a joyous occasion, and I couldn't be more pleased to be with my mother while we go grocery shopping together.

I was 2 years old when the NCCC opened its 1st supermarket and department store at Ramon Magsaysay Avenue, and they named the establishment New City Commercial Center. It was geared toward offering a wide variety of high-quality goods at the lowest price possible, and it was coupled with service that was warm and friendly from the associates working there. They remain committed to their mission of providing Dabawenyos with high-quality service and products at reasonable prices.

At the moment, the corporation operates more than one hundred stores of varying formats spread out across the nation.

Helen's Farm, Great Green Earth, Inc., Pinnacle Agri-Frontiers, Inc., Dos Palmas Arreceffi Island Resort, Inc., and NCCC Cares are some of the business units that are currently part of the NCCC Group of Companies. Other business units in the group include LTS Pinnacle Holdings, Inc., LTS Retail Specialists, Inc., LTS Malls, Inc., LTS Department Stores, Inc., LTS Hardware.

NCCC and its employees are able to give back to the community through a variety of programs that benefit youth, families, communities, and the environment thanks to the company's foundation, which is known as NCCC Cares.

With Ms. Afriel Joie Bucio-Cabural, NCCC Marketing Manager

She is one of the NCCC Employees who greeted us with a cheerful "Good Morning" at the department store, but I failed to get her name. Thanks Ate!

Tatay and his family did not give up on their dream of making a success of their business, despite the fact that the early years of the company were fraught with a great deal of difficulty. NCCC started out as a general merchandise store before transitioning into a textile store. Since then, the company has grown into one of the most important players in the retail industry, not only in Davao City but also across the entire country.

Me & Ms. Anna Alfafara together with the CEO & President of the New City Commercial Complex, Sir Lafayette Alvarez Lim.

For 44 years, now that they have many branches, I thought that it would lessen the crowd, but it isn't working out that way. I was astounded by the number of people from Mintal who came out to show their support for the opening of the NCCC supermarket and department store in Vista Mall. And I had the opportunity to talk with people who live near the mall, and they couldn't express how happy they are that the NCCC opened its supermarket and department store so close to them. They will find that going to the grocery store and department store is very simple and convenient.

    Congratulations NCCC!

It is never too late to start a journal of your life and get started telling your own one-of-a-kind story; everyone has something special to share. Throughout the course of your life, you have been exposed to a great number of experiences. It is time to begin the process of preserving those memories so that you can recall them later in life and share them with your loved ones and close friends.

Many years ago, I started a blog, and ever since then, I've made it a habit to carry a personalized journal/planner with me wherever I go.

As a result, I'm encouraging people who are just starting out in the blogosphere to also start their own personal journal/planner. With such a diverse range of opportunities available, there is no excuse for you to delay getting started RIGHT NOW. You might choose to begin writing in the form of a journal or diary. This would most likely be done in your own words and be highly personal.

Writing about your life's experiences is a form of expressing your own thoughts about your daily life. In addition, you might look into the possibility of compiling a family history. This enables you to delve even further into the history of your family.

A planner is a useful tool for me (those yearly planners). I've tried them all, from daily (one day per page) planners to monthly (entire month per page) planners, and the only ones that have stuck have been weekly planners (which have enough space to write a to-do list but also enough overview of your week so you can plan ahead). It's been incredibly useful for making sure I don't overbook myself on the weekends and pay bills on time, among other mundane but important tasks. Also, your personality will play a large role in determining whether a paper planner or an electronic one works best for you. Since I work better with paper, I keep a planner journal.

I purchased my own personal planner from ChyNahine. She is also the one who made my personal planners for 2021 and 2022, giving them the color and design that I chose.

Why was it bought? Why not make your own version instead? For the past few years, I've been responsible for creating my own journal planner. But as time passes and my hectic schedule continues, I find that I don't have enough time to shop for the supplies that are necessary for my planner. As a result, I made the decision to have someone personalize my planner for me.

I chose wisely, too. This saves me time and money, and I only have to pay P280 for it.

My overstuffed 2022 agenda is about to be retired. Saluting the year 2023 and welcoming it to my life!

Apo Agua Infrastructura, Inc. (Apo Agua) has recently established a partnership with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Region XI and FARDECO Multipurpose Cooperative (FARDECO) through a five-year reforestation program for the rehabilitation of DENR's 200-hectare site in Barangay Cadalian, Baguio District.

Apo Agua Operations Head, Mr. Shake A. Tuason, Department of Environment and Natural Resources XI Regional Executive Director Bagani Fidel Evasco, and FARDECO Multipurpose Cooperative Chairman Nelson Tagud signed a memorandum of agreement on October 28, 2022.

Apo Agua and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) have joined forces in order to raise community members' awareness of the importance of conserving watersheds and biodiversity through an all-encompassing information, education, and communication (IEC) campaign. This is in keeping with both organizations' respective commitments to assisting in the preservation of the watershed and providing opportunities for the community's members to earn a living. In addition to multimedia materials like posters and videos, metal signage highlighting local endemic species will be put up in the barangays of the Baguio District to promote wildlife conservation through the preservation and protection of animals, plants, and their habitats.

This reforestation program is not just about planting trees; it is also about restoring and caring for our NGP area within the Panigan-Tamugan Watershed. "We've worked with Aboitiz on many projects, and this reforestation program is not just about planting trees." Through this partnership, Apo Agua is assisting us in ensuring that our water table will continue to be sustainable all the way to the homes of Davaoenos. Bagani Fidel Evasco, the Regional Executive Director for DENR 11, said, "I hope that this is not the end of it and that we will continue with our efforts to conserve the environment."

Apo Agua also gave digital cameras to the Monitoring Team of the City Environment and Natural Resources Office of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), and they gave mobile devices, power banks, and raincoats to the Lawin Patrollers of DENR-CENRO. This was done to optimize the watershed monitoring activities of both groups.

It is a privilege to work hand in hand with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) to preserve the Panigan-Tamugan watershed. As part of our strategy to advance both our business and the communities in which we operate, we place a high value on the protection of the environment at Aboitiz. According to Anna Lu, President of Apo Agua, "We recognize the urgent need to protect the watershed as this will be the next water source of Davao City, and we are taking proactive steps to do so."

Apo Agua has been a consistent supporter of environmental protection through a variety of programs, and in 2019, the company joined forces with the Davao City Water District to participate in the Adopt-a-Site Reforestation Program.

In addition to this, it carried out a watershed baseline study in collaboration with ARUP, a well-known consulting firm. This study resulted in the formulation of recommendations for the Davao City Watershed Management Council (WMC) to consider when formulating policies that will ensure the watershed's continued viability.

Apo Agua is determined to hasten the project's completion in order to provide a safe and sustainable water supply to the customers of the Davao City Water District while it is in the process of leading the construction of the Bulk Water Supply Project for DCWD.

Pipelaying activities are also ongoing in multiple locations across 15 barangays in the Second and Third Districts of Davao City, which have resulted in the restoration of roads in those areas.

About Apo Agua Apo Infrastructura, Inc. is building one of the Philippines' largest private bulk water supply facilities. It will give the Davao City Water District more than 300 million liters per day of safe, clean water for the people of Davao City.

The company reached an agreement with the Davao City Water District (DCWD) to switch the primary source of water for Davao City from groundwater wells to the Tamugan River, which is a source of surface water that is more environmentally friendly.

I was given the opportunity to go to GMA Mediacon along with the cast of StartUpPH, starring Alden Richards, Bea Alonzo, Jeric Gonzales, and Yasmien Kurdi. The event took place at 1953 Kusina Leticia.

They are in Davao to complete their final leg of promoting StartUpPH to GMA Regional TV and to express their gratitude to Kapuso fans for their support.

Following the mediacon, the cast made their way to the GMA Regional TV station for a courtesy visit, while a BIZTALK took place on the regional TV program At Home With GMA, hosted by Jandii Esteban.

Many times, I've had the opportunity to speak with Alden Richards, and this year, I was taken aback by his responses. He is, without a doubt, a grown adult, and judging from the manner in which he responded to questions posed by the media, we can deduce that he has gained a great deal of wisdom from the experiences he has had, both in his personal life and in the course of his career as an actor.

I would like to offer my congratulations to Alden Richards on his selection as the "Entertainer of the Year" by Esquire Philippines and to wish him a happy 12th anniversary in the entertainment industry. You are so fortunate to have had as many years as you have spent working in the entertainment industry to cultivate a positive reputation among all of the younger people and the generations to come.

Jeric Gonzales and Alden came to Davao to promote StartUpPH during the Kadayawan 2022 event. That was the first time I had the pleasure of meeting Jeric Gonzales; and today is the second time I had the opportunity to do so. And considering the length of time involved, I found it incredible to see how far he had come as an actor. Acquiring four Best Actor awards for his performance in the independent film BROKEN BLOOMS at four of the most prestigious film festivals in the world—the Harlem International Film Festival in New York, the Mokkho and Tagore International Film Festivals in India, and most recently the Montellupo Fiorentino International Film Festival in Italy—is an accomplishment that simply cannot be ignored. Congratulations Jeric!

StartUpPH is Bea Alonzo's first show for GMA, and she played an iconic character in the show that viewers can connect with. I inquired as to whether or not she felt pressure from the people she worked with at GMA, and she responded in the affirmative. (The following video will explain the reasons why she felt pressured.)

Yasmien Kurdi is a fellow addict of Korean dramas, just like me, and plays the part of Katrina, the older sister of Bea Alonzo who is also a passionate CEO. She proclaimed that she enjoyed watching Kdramas, and during the pandemic she used her free time to watch the Korean drama titled Start-Up. She also mentioned that being a part of a Korean adaptation is on her bucket list. And to make a long story short, the opportunity to work on the project of her dreams presented itself just as she was wrapping up the prior commitment she had.

It was my first time meeting Yasmien and Bea, and I'm delighted to finally meet them in person.

The StartUpPH casts, having finished their meeting with the Davao Media and Content Creators, head to the Abreeza Ayala Mall to put on their mall show.

Watch StartUpPH aired from Monday-Friday at GMA Network. The series is set to conclude on December 23, 2022 with a total of 65 episodes. Kaya watch napo mga Kapuso!

Thanks again GMA Network and GMA Regional TV for inviting me (again), till next time mga #Kapuso!

GMA Regional TV brings the hit primetime series "Start-Up PH" to Davao on Wednesday (November 30), bringing Alden Richards and Bea Alonzo along with Jeric Gonzales and Yasmien Kurdi. This event brings a memorable close to the month of November for GMA Regional TV.

The cast of Start-Up PH will celebrate Kapuso Fans Day live at Ayala Malls Abreeza in Davao City beginning at 5:00 p.m., ensuring that Dabawenyo "Dreamers" have an unforgettable afternoon.

"Jeric and I are thrilled to be back in Davao, and this time we've brought Yasmien Kurdi and Bea Alonzo with us. "We are extremely appreciative of the public's support for Start-Up PH, and we have high hopes that we will be able to return some of that love to them through this Kapuso Fans Day," says Alden.

Not only has the audience been praising Start-Up PH, but the producer of the hit Korean drama that it is based on has also been giving it high marks.

The Kapuso stars, for their part, are appreciative of the support they have received from the general public as well as the Korean producers.

"The opportunity to create the Filipino adaptation was truly a privilege for our team." According to Alden, "We hope that we can also inspire a lot of local audiences here in the Philippines as much as the Korean version did all over the world."

Bea, who is an icon at the box office, is pleased with her first Kapuso show because it has proven that all of their efforts have been worthwhile.

"This serves as a small form of validation for us, in the sense that it acts as a pat on the back, regardless of how much they liked our project." We put a lot of effort into this. "And masaya rin ako hindi lang sa reaction nila, but also sa reaksyon ng mga tao sa social media, especially the fans of Start-Up Korea, kasi napapanood nila 'yung Philippine adaptation," Bea adds.

Directed by Dominic Zapata and Jerry Sineneng, the star-studded cast also features Gabby Eigenmann, Kim Domingo, Ayen Munji-Laurel, Jackielou Blanco, Boy2 Quizon, Royce Cabrera, NiƱo Muhlach, Lovely Rivero, Kevin Santos, Tim Yap, Kaloy Tingcungco, Brianna, Gianna Llanes and Ms. Gina Alajar, with the special participation of Neil Ryan Sese.

“We are excited to bring back Start-Up PH in Davao. During this year’s Kadayawan, we had Alden and Jeric gracing GMA Network’s participation in the Kadayawan Float parade. This time, we have Alden, Bea, Jeric, and Yasmien joining us for their Kapuso Fans Day and we cannot wait for our Kapusong Dabawenyos to meet them. We are grateful to GMA Entertainment Group and the Ayala Malls Abreeza for making this happen,” says First Vice President and Head of GMA Regional TV and Synergy and Acting Head of GMA Integrated News Oliver Victor B. Amoroso.

Viewers are in for more heartwarming episodes in ‘Start-Up PH’ which airs weeknights at 8:50PM on GMA and at 11:30PM from Monday to Thursday and at 11PM every Friday on GTV.

More events await Kapuso in the regions courtesy of GMA Regional TV. Stay tuned for the announcements by visiting www.gmaregionaltv.com and following GMA Regional TV on its official Facebook page www.facebook.com/GMARegionalTV and via @GMARegionalTV on Twitter and Instagram.
