From the excerpt of the song of Cyndy Lauper: "Girls Just Want To Have Fun", truly implies the activities of the candidates of Miss Teen Philippines.

Though the idea that the MISS TEEN PHILIPPINES ORGANIZATION wants to portray for the youth, that beauty and brain comes together with one indication and that is to promote EDUCATION as one of the most important means of empowering especially the women with knowledge and skills and to be a good role model as students to make accurate self-assessment and improve their work for the better. The continued advocacy of MTP will not be put into reality if not with the help of Ms. Karen Arceo, Mr. Ian and Jan Arceo and Ms. Kathy Arceo as the Official Organizers of the pageant.

From the outset, I haven't heard the girls' complaining about various aches and pains or feeling fatigue. I saw happy faces with determination that they can manage it properly! I might say that they have the volition or the will to do all the activities with much interests and ambitions.

I am greatly inspired on how they carry themselves, they are naturally drawn to do whatever feels best.  They already possess the direct alignment that they want to achieve and that makes me conclude that they all deserve to win the crown that they are entirely fantastic in their own style!

And to my Davao Team, you fought with a good fight and I am proud of YOU!!!  To all who supported them from the start, DAGHANG SALAMAT!!!

Personally,  I write a post of happiness and things that I see greatness in my life.  This time I will write a post in memory of my friend Alexandra "DJ LEXI" Bautista.

For a short span of time we've shared, I already consider you as my younger sister. Yes, I am saddened by your passing and it's normal to cry and acknowledging that I am in great sorrow. Never had the chance to think that this will end like this.

You never truly know what's in someone's heart, to treat you like that with disrespect and incompassion. Knowing your side of the story is my privilege, though you don't want to talk about it with others except for me and your partner, Jommel. You never had the opportunity, nor did you put an effort in defending yourself. You never had the chance to explain your side, you just keep quiet.

The things that you've read in FACEBOOK that made suffered you so much is a clear image of a CYBER BULLYING. The things she/he said about you is an act of harming your reputation by making false accusation towards you and I am appealing for JUSTICE to you my friend, she/he should be made to pay.

Today I cried, I don't have the answers as to why you left us as sooner as that, all I know that God is a loving God...everything had a purpose. Right?  She/He will pay for that and only God will give real justice to you my friend.

To my dearest friend Lexi, you've stopped because you want to take rest forever not because you're weak but because your journey has ended. Although the pain for us seems like it will never end, I promise it will get easier to handle and deal with in time.

Many people come and go in our lives, but very few make a worthwhile memorable impression. Despite her worsening illness, Lexi never grumbled or complained about her sometimes obvious discomfort, a rare virtue in any man. She had strong principles that she believed in and lived by but she was never judgemental and loved people for what they were. A focus of love and affection that radiated out and touched those of us who were privileged to know her.

As a young woman, she was a fiercely independent person who wanted to go her own way and do her own thing, but whatever her own thing was or whatever took her fancy, she always gave it her best shot. She would work hard and was willing and able to do the best she could in whatever challenge she faced. I know she's a fighter, I saw everything what really happened to her, I was there when she needed comfort, though we only known each other quiet sometime.

Alexandra Bautista selected her friends very carefully, if you were lucky enough to be counted as one of them, then you knew you had someone you could trust and rely on, someone with undeniable loyalty and honesty.

Lexi lived and enjoyed her life to the full, and made the most possible out of every single precious moment with us and Jommel Banez. We all have many happy memories of Dj Lexi and these we must hold dear in our hearts and cherish them, as she cherished us.

Rest in peace my dearest Lexi. Farewell but not goodbye my friend.

I truly can't restrain my head off in presenting important details to my Miss Teen Philippines Candidates-Davao Regional Finalists. Having that impression of the things that are PROHIBITED HAND CARRIED ITEMS ON DOMESTIC FLIGHTS, you will see a big disposable box in the departure area after the last security check as you enter the lounge area.

Even if this is not my first time to travel in a plane, I still don't know what are the CUSTOMS and AIRPORT GUIDELINES about the things to be carried inside the plane, considering that I usually bring with me my hand-carry bag with those piles of sunblock, lip balms, cologne, eye drop, lipsticks, face powder, and so on.

NEW RULES FOR TAKING LIQUID, AEROSOLS AND GELS THROUGH SECURITY CHECK ONTO INTERNATIONAL AND DOMESTIC FLIGHTS

There you have it, items that are over 100ml are not allowed onto International and Domestic flights.

    PREPARATION BEFORE THE FLIGHT

    1. Sort all the things that you're going to hand-carry, do this before you leave for the airport.
    2. You must bring only the liquids, aerosols and gels not over 100ml container or in a smaller about 100gm in weight. Place it in
    3. a biodegradable plastic bag. Plastic bag should be comfortably close when full, Only one bag per person is allowed.

So better sort the things you needed for the CHECK-IN and CARRY-ON, because things are being check for security purposes.

    CHECK-IN:
    1. If you have an items greater than 100ml place it in a check-in baggage.
    2. There are no restrictions on what are the things you can pack into your check-in baggage.

    CARRY-ON:
    1. Each item is 100ml or less.
    2. Bag is sealed.
    3. Only 1 bag is allowed.

I hope this will help my candidates in preparing things needed for their flight, as well as with the other passengers who are planning to have their first time air-travel.

Before Matina Town Square, Kalsada, Rizal, Hybrid and Venue there was a famous club bar located at Ponciano Reyes St., fronting Philippine Long Distance Company who started the great Davao Disco NightLife., the famous ACROPOLIS DISCO.

When we talk about simple to classy and high-tech disco and featuring live bands and DJ's, Acropolis is the most talk of the town Class A and B club bar. Suddenly it was shut down and closed.

Every summer I attend to it that my youngster will enjoy their vacation, and as far as I know they love splurging and getting to the beach front and have their splish and splash summery vacation. So what I did is to look for a beach just near to us, we've been to Paradise Island and Costa Marina many times so I resolved to choose BlueJaz Beach Resort and Waterpark.

As early as the rising of the sun, we headed to a fresh and ultra cool beach resort in Samal, a comfy spot to enjoy your summer getaway.

Getting there is very easy, we ride on a TAXI and pay PHp120 for our FARE, from downtown to Lanang, Pampanga.  Their BOAT LOCATION is beside Garden by the Bay(formerly Maryknoll).

    ENTRANCE FEE:

    Adult - PHp90 x 3 = PHp270
    Kids 7 above - PHp70

    BLUEJAZ BOAT ENTRANCE PAVILION
and our PIRATE WRISTBAND to be wear inside the resort.

I pay PHp340 plus BOAT FARE of PHp120(PHp30/person x 4 back and forth), total payment of PHp460. But I wonder how come I pay that amount since I already talk from a BlueJaz staff who happened to be my Facebook friend about giving discounts to the elders. I ask the one assigned that day, if she already gives my mom a SC Discount, at first, she was hesitant to give us a discount because according to her,
she already issued us our receipt, but I insist that is not right, you can alter the receipt and affix your signature for correction purposes or make another new receipt. BIR will not question her because she is executing what is right, affording us the proper payment and discount but she insisted that it is not allowed at their resort. What she did in order to resolved the problem is to deduct our boat fare, instead of paying PHp120 she give me back my PHp30, so I only pay PHp90 for our boat fare.

I understand that she is just following instructions, but I suggest in order to avoid such scenario, next time they have to check and see if there is an elderly to the group so that they can give proper discount.

Well anyway, going back to our summer beach getaway. My mom and my kids are very happy while waiting for our boat to arrive.

The boat arrives and then we started sailing...

Seeing the pristine beaches of Samal, it's so tempting! In a way, so inviting that you really need to take a plunge upon arrival because of the hot weather we are having today.

Upon arrival, you will see this.

Reminders and Amenities Rate for you to enjoy!
We did not bring FOOD(baon) because as far as I know if you will buy food at their restaurant you will not pay for cottages and nipa huts.

We ordered their PHp600 LUNCH COMBO MEAL + for our dessert Banana Shake and Mango Shake
    worth PHp90 x 3 = PHp360.  A total of PHp960 for our FOOD.

Actually, you can choose from PHp600-800 Lunch/Dinner Combo Meal.

So many activities to enjoy at this place, the likes of...

    JAZ SLIDE

    GIGANTIC SLIDES and ZIP LINE

    KIDDIE SLIDE

    CRUISE with the PIRATE BOAT

...BANANA BOAT, JET SKIING, and 1st in Davao the FLY FISH.

Nothing to worry because for FIRST AID and EMERGENCY purposes, they have a 24 hour NURSE STATION always ready to attend to you as possible.

I only choose a DAY TOUR schedule, wherein we have to stay at the resort from 6am-5pm only. We have limited time to enjoy it all, but nevertheless I enjoy shopping and swimming together with my kids and my mom.

    SHOPPING

    SWIMMING at the INFINITY POOL

Our DAY TOUR stays as I said is very limited, but we were pleased to receive exactly what we are hoping for! From FOOD SERVING, we were lucky enough to have a guy who is very knowledgeable and gave us a thorough overview of the resort. All my questions were answered and this GUY that I forget to ask his name that according to him, he's an ON-CALL employee, also had a great suggestions for dining particularly local food dishes available in the restaurant and sightseeing during the remaining time of our stay.

    This place is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

They don't accept reservation for NIPA HUT and COTTAGES, if you're planning to visit this place better to arrive early for a DAY TOUR.
