Woooh! I thought there was a problem in their relationship. Oh well, that's normal to encounter such problem, especially to young parents. I also experienced that kind of situation wherein I have to wake up in the middle of the night just to change diaper. It's so hard, because I'm a working mom and its very tiring to do the changing and we (referring to my partner) always have our schedule, but sometimes my partner can't do it so I have to do his part. And that means a big fight after! 😂😂😂

    WHAT'S THE STORY ABOUT?
A few days ago, netizens and fans expressed their support to new parents Elisse Joson and Mccoy de Leon after seeing the couple’s cryptic posts on Facebook and Instagram stories, hinting that both had enough already.
If you don't know the whole story, read here AYOKO NA!

After much probing, we found that the real cause was the couple’s lack of good night sleep. While most people can relate to having sleepless nights, first-time parents like Elisse and Mccoy are nodding their heads and saying, “We hear you.”

    Parents’ Partner for Uninterrupted Sleep

McLisse, in a Pampers Power Parents Show Facebook Live with Saab Magalona and Jim Bacarro on Monday, revealed that they had to wake up in the middle of the night to their daughter, Felize McKenzie, crying because of the discomfort and leaks caused by the previous diaper brand they were using. They recalled that the most difficult time for them was during Felize’s first six months – Elisse would get up in the middle of the night to feed and to change diapers multiple times. To prevent this from happening again, Elisse and Mccoy have taken shifts in changing Felize’s diapers which eventually left the couple tired, frustrated and not having enough sleep. For working parents like Elisse and Mccoy, a restful sleep is important. And when your baby is uncomfortable and does not get enough sleep, that also means that the whole family does not either.

They also shared some of their parenting struggles and promoted equal parenting with fellow parents Saab Magalona and Jim Bacarro

Apparently, this is a common struggle for parents. Most nighttime diaper changes are either done before baby sleeps or around the parents’ sleeping schedule to reduce the need for parent and baby to wake up at night. However, parents still experience instances when they wake up in the middle of the night to check their baby’s diaper. They oftentimes worry of “babad” or the soaking in free liquid on diaper’s topsheet.

But after hearing recommendations from fellow Pampers parents, McLisse decided to try the new Pampers Overnight and saw the difference in their daughter’s sleep: comfortable, uninterrupted, and free of leaks. All thanks to its superior Zero Babad Night Lock that absorbs baby’s pee all night and helps prevent rashes! It has Zero Babad Technology that can absorb up to 1 night’s pee based on average overnight loading and Zero Babad NightLock belt to prevent nighttime leaks.

Call to Equal Parenting to Ease the Load for New Parents

During the same Facebook Live show, the couples discussed how parenting is not easy and how listening and supporting each other is essential. Saab pointed out, “Diaper problems man or other complex challenges, whether emotional, physical, mental - those are valid, and you can also always ask for help… and for us, let’s continue to give them support.”

Mccoy and Elisse said that amidst parenting struggles at home, they are both grateful that they equally share the caregiving duties which helps in lessening their parenting loads and worries. Saab and Jim added that having the support of other family members also helps alleviate stress as well.

The concept of equal parenting rings even more relevancy now with the celebration of the International Women’s day as it emphasizes that caregiving and housework are the responsibility of both parents, and they mentioned how we need to break outdated stereotypes that women are the sole, full-time caregiver in the early stages of a child’s life.

Procter & Gamble on Promoting Equal Parenting

Last year, P&G launched a program called “Share the Care” that gives its employees, regardless of their gender and marital status, 8 weeks of fully paid parental leave and offers all kinds of parents different opportunities to care for and bond with the children new to their family – biological or adopted. This is beyond the standard 7 days that is mandated by the Philippine law for fathers. Meanwhile, mothers continue to receive 105 calendar days of fully paid maternal leave.

Join the Pampers Power Parents and promote healthy sleep by giving your babies the night diaper that offers better value with zero babad protection. Shop the new Pampers Overnight Pants today by visiting our Lazada and Shopee stores and other major retailers now.

Within the last quarter of 2020 and the whole year of 2021, we’ve all missed face-to-face events and business – and we are worse for it, especially in the social media, blogosphere, video creators, etc.. And yes, we’ve been stuck behind our computer screens for two years now, it’s sometimes hard to remember the power face-to-face events have and particularly, how those chance meetings at live events can come about so unexpectedly and yet be so profound.

Honestly, I miss all the personal interactions. The chances of meeting and to have conversations between delegates, event sponsors, exhibiting companies or even the event organizers, that lead to everything from business collaborations, knowledge sharing and ongoing relationships, business or otherwise.

I was invited to attend Round Table Discussion about Gender & Art, but it turns out I'm having a one-on-one interview with some of the Bai Hinang artists.

I'm so honoured to interview two wonderful artists of BaiHinang Davao Women Artists in the BAI CHROMATICA ART Women's Month Showcase held at La Herencia Davao. The exhibition is open to the public at the Arc Library in La Herencia Davao, F. Torres St., Davao City.

BTW, BaiHinang is Davao City's first all female artist group. It's a mix of professional artists and hobbyists, its main goal is to showcase the plethora of artistic talents, from realistic paintings to pure abstractions.

Thanks so much Jacinta Eve Sevilla of @tesori.rosari and Aimee Suarez of @aimeesuarezart

Watch the full interview here ⬇️⬇️⬇️

BAI HINANG DAVAO artist Jacinta Eve Sevilla.

The love for nature and animals are her inspiration in creating her works. She is also into making jewelries and rosaries. You can check some of her works at her Instagram @tesori.rosario

BAI HINANG DAVAO artist Aimee Suarez is now more inclined in creating oil canvas painting.

She gets her inspiration from the daily lives of the people, places and environment.

More artworks from her Facebook Page @aimeesuarezart

Indeed, face-to-face events really are what makes the world go round! So glad I'm back, doing the things I loved. Thanks to BaiHinang Davao and Tita Mae Fe Ancheta for invitation.

Though the RTD becomes a one-on-one interview,  still our discussion is their own interpretation regarding GENDER & ART,  what inspire them and where do they get their inspiration. Both artists express themselves through their art, the outcome of the cultural process of sexual and social identity is well-presented through their artworks.

I totally agree in the article I've read at RoolingStone.com entitled "FINALLY, RESEARCH SUGGESTS FEMALE ARTISTS ARE MORE CREATIVE THAN MEN". It's a new study from a music researchers that women are engaged in creative fields like art, music, and literature at higher rates than men – and are generally more creative than men!

For me, maybe because women are more patient and very endearing to their crafts and activities. We are more interested in, that if we like something, we work hard to have it! We are more compassionate biologically speaking and I agree to that! 👍

    Happy Women's Day to all!

In a relationship there's always an Ups and Downs. They always say, it's normal and its inevitable. We cannot control what's going on, and as significant they are, we pay little attention to the changes as they become part of our daily life. Partners tend to believe that we have control over our relationships, that is sometimes both don't know how to fix it and in the end partners will argue a lot in small things and sometimes if we don't know what to do, we give up!

"Ayoko na" meaning "I don't want it anymore". You will find that your relationship is uncomfortable,  both of you is in a dark place, and you're not certain when or how things happened. This is what I found out between these two partners, Elisae Joson and Mccoy de Leon. I was shocked when I read their posts in the social media respectively.

‘Ayoko na. Gabi gabi na lang akong walang tulog’: Elisse and Mccoy foreshadow break-up in cryptic post

    THE CRYPTIC POST

Elisse Joson and Mccoy de Leon, or “McLisse”, were first discovered through the popular reality television show Pinoy Big Brother Lucky Season 7 back in 2016. Both contestants were very expressive of their feelings, especially Mccoy. And fans were also quick to notice that they have an undeniable connection and chemistry. As years went by, the two showbiz newbies went from close friends to being first-time parents to 10-month-old daughter Felize McKenzie.

Many fans follow the two PBB alums on their social media platforms, and they were left shocked and wondering what happened to the two, especially just after Elisse’s birthday surprise party for Mccoy and Felize’s baptism. In the afternoon of March 04, 2022, Elisse published a cryptic post.

According to the actress, “Akala ko okay na pero nakakapagod pala. Gabi-gabi na lang akong walang tulog. Babad sa isip ko kung paano matitigil yung paghihirap namin ni baby. Ayoko na.”

This post did not sit well with fans of the couple. They shared theories on what could be the source of this tension. Some say there could be issues within their families, financial problems, and many more.

Later that day, Mccoy also took a jab at the issue and posted what he was feeling.

Mccoy expressed how he also feels weighed down by the situation, “Nahihirapan na din ako.” Regardless of how hard things are right now, the young father is not giving up on his partner and daughter saying he will find a way to give them protection, “At sana kahit ganito, hindi tayo bumitaw dahil gagawin ko ang lahat mapasaya at maprotektahan lang kayo.”

We have reached out to both camps about this issue, and they are still yet to respond.

Hope both camps will respond to answers all the queries regarding their posts. I know that Good Communication,  no matter how busy you are both, see to it that you can sit down with your partner and have a one-on-one time talk without the busyness of life. Make it easy — nothing over the moon or strenuous. The goal is to TALK and have fun - together.

I'm a fan of these two wonderful parent celebrities. I like all of their songs, especially "Tatlong Beinte Singko" and "Bakit Pa". So glad to hear that they will be having a concert tour together with their daughter Jayda.

Dingdong Avanzado is known as the Philippines’ Prince of Pop. He is a multi-platinum recording artist and songwriter. He is regarded as one of the most outstanding concert performers in the Philippines over the last two decades.

His hit songs like “Makapiling Ka Sana”, “Basta’t Kasama Kita”, “To Love Again”, “Tatlong Beinte Singko” and “Paalam Na” all became love anthems and movie themes in the late eighties and early nineties making Dingdong one of the most celebrated recording artists of his time.

Dingdong has one distinct thing in common with other notable Philippine singers and music artists like Ogie Alcasid, Randy Santiago, Carlo Orosa, Louie Ocampo, Mel Villena, Rowell Santiago, and Gary Valenciano, to name a few – they were all members of Kundirana.

The Kundirana is a renowned high school music ministry and organization composed of 3rd and 4th year high school students from La Salle Green Hills. The group is known for developing successful professional singers and musical artists. Once chosen from a rigorous audition, a Kundirana member undergoes intense training in both singing and dancing, eventually becoming ambassadors of goodwill.

Jessa Zaragoza is known as the Philippines’ Phenomenal Diva due to the success of her hit song “Bakit Pa?”. The song became the number one ballad in the Philippines in the late 90s. It is also the carrier single of her album, Just Can’t Help Feelin, which reached sextuple platinum months after its release in 1996.

She is married to Dingdong Avanzado and has a daughter, Jayda.

Jayda, Janelle Amanda Loyola Avanzado in real life, is Dingdong Avanzado
and Jessa Zaragoza’s only daughter. She is now making a name in the music industry
as a singer-songwriter with her hit composition “Happy For You”, a single from her debut EP, In My Room, which was released in 2018.

Jayda also performed at 1MX, the biggest International Filipino Music Festival, held in Singapore in 2019 and 2021 in Manila.

Jayda is one the Philippines’ rising stars of her generation.

Revelation: The Concert Tour in the U.S.” is the very first LIVE event from TFC to be held in the U.S.

The concert is a “family affair” – headlined by OPM/Pop singer and the “Original Prince of Pinoy Pop” Dingdong Avanzado; with his wife, Jessa Zaragoza – the “Phenomenal Diva” and one of the Philippines' biggest selling female recording artists.

Joining them is their daughter – Jayda – touted as  the next artist to watch out for. She has shown extraordinary musicality even at a very early age, writing her first song at the age of 12.

Dingdong and Jessa are two of the big-name artists in the 90s and many 1st-gen FilAms would be familiar with their discography, while Jayda is an up-and-coming artist for the new generation of music lovers.

In Southern California, Revelation: The Concert Tour will be on March 12 at the Alex Theater, 216 N Brand Boulevard, Glendale, CA 91203. Ticket prices for the Glendale leg are: $158.00; $128.00; $98.00; $78.00; $70.00; $65.00; $50.00.

Revelation goes to Northern California on March 26 at the Fox Theater, 2215 Broadway, Redwood City, CA 94063. Ticket prices for this venue are: $55, $45,$35.

Go to myTFC.com/revelation to get your tickets and for more information.

I'm not a techy person, that's why I barely touch my site when it comes to technical issues. But, I'm not a technophobe person or having the fear of technology, because I can easily adjust to the digital world. I just don't like complexity, especially when it comes to site issues.

In today's rapidly changing world, it can be easy to feel out of touch. Well, that's  my experience when I transfer my domain name to the new Zcom site. Whenever there's a major change in how we do things, particularly if there's a technicality involved, my anxiety is likely to occur.

When Zcom emailed me that I have to transfer my domain name to their new site, I am hesitant to do it. It's a kind of hassle in my part, as a writer/blogger its not my job to do the transferring. BTW, I have three domain sites: palraine.com, glamourholicmom.com and foodiepalonline.com. The first two domain I got it from GoDaddy and the latter I got it from pangalan.com.

foodiepalonline.com originally is from pangalan.com. But pangalan.com transfers all their clients to Zcom way back 2019. The process of transferring that time is so much easier compared today. The only problem I encounter is the difficulty in communicating with pangalan.com customer service and tech people, because no one is answering my queries at their website. So glad, that I got to search for their mobile contact number, and that's why the transferring is so fast and easy.

    THE TRANSFERRING WITH ZCOM

February 21. I click the link they emailed me to do the transferring, and all went well. TRANFER WAS COMPLETED.

February 26. After 5 days, when I open my foodiepalonline.com site to make a draft for another article, I discover that my site is down. It was Saturday and Zcom Customer Service is available only from Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, but still I message them via Facebook Messenger and Emailed them too. I was surprised when someone reply to my query the next day (that is Sunday). 😲

The problem is my DNS or my Domain Name System, it's not properly set, that's why my site went down. They give me another link to follow on how to put my DNS properly since my hosting is from the Blogspot or Blogger.com.

Upon opening the link and see all the procedures, I got lost! I don't know what to do anymore. I give up and honestly, I got confused!

I ask Veronica of Zcom to help me navigate my cpanel, and so happy she assisted me. She's the one who made the transfer and viola! Monday morning I wake up early and check my site and its up already.

Read my conversation with Veronica of Zcom via Facebook Messenger:

I'm pretty sure that some of you will say, "it's very easy!" Yeah, for you, but not for me. I just hope that migrating to another site will not be too hassle to us (for those who are not so techy), because honestly it consume our time. Instead of doing our daily job or activities, we cannot anymore focus because of the transferring.

I'm a writer, not a techy person. I don't have a technical background, I didn't know what to do, the first attempt wasn't very good. And base in our conversation,  I tried hard to learn the procedures given, how hard it can be which is foolish to say, "Not everybody can do this. The job is more on "technicality" than a "writer". 😂😂😉 Well, the bottom line is that I am a "writer", hope Zcom will have another way of doing the transferring by not giving a hard time to their clients, doing all the DNS transfer etc.,  I'm just so lucky that Veronica is there patiently guiding me all the way.

Anyway, I'm very happy that my site foodiepalonline.com is UP!
