Luck had me when I won P1000 from PayMaya at the SMART Media Christmas Party.

I normally pay bills over the counter and honestly I hate falling inline and wait for my queue number to be called. I have no choice but to lived in this world that you have to wait patiently, but what makes me angry that some point in your life-if not many-someone has to cut in the line and make you wait longer! I hate line cutters, well some with good reasons and others without, but generally infuriating all the same.

It wasn't easy to pay bills from one place to another. I really have difficulty in these paper bills transactions, I have to stick because I always do this kind of routine "nakasanayan na". But these time I managed to create my own shortcuts in paying, thanks in large part to my PayMaya Visa app and card.

The PayMaya app which comes with a Visa card is a prepaid digital payment solution created by PayMaya Philippines, Inc. - the only digital financial unit of PLDT and SMART Communications, Inc.

Even before I've used different kinds of credit cards and prepaid debit/credit cards for paying my bills online, but I stop because of the Phishing incident happened with other banks. Now, I have my BIG TRUST with PayMaya considering that their card is already EMV - a global standard for cards equipped with computer chips and technology used to authenticate chip-card transactions. For us card users this is the biggest benefit we can get having an EMV cards - reduction in card fraud. The only difference about PayMaya with other credit cards is that, you need to have money in your PayMaya account to pay for your purchases and not a rack up credit. (How to load PayMaya)

PayMaya Visa app solved my problem over how to pay for our Abreeza Cinema tickets at sureseats.com. It was a quick plan that we want to watch a movie and we don't have time to go to the cinema and make a reservation. So I decided to make a reservation online and pay it via PayMaya app.

My PayMaya app gave me a real-time tally of my complete and approved transactions, its like that you have a card that keep you on track of your purchases. And one good thing about using PayMaya was that it gives you a conversation on how much is your remaining balance. I also received a notification via SMS every time I make a purchase or I received money since my PayMaya account is tied with my mobile number.

I was amaze with my ticket reservation because it was easy and very fast transaction.

Promo Mechanics: The promo is open to all PayMaya customers who have their accounts linked to the Messenger app. Promo period is from December 16 to 19, 2017.

How to refer and earn:

1. Access your PayMaya account in Messenger by visiting this link: http://pymy.co/get50
2. Click on the promo notification and share the promo message to your Messenger contacts (open to both Smart and Globe subscribers).
3. Alternatively, you can also click on “Promos” in the menu and select “Refer Friends, Get P50” to access the promo message which you can share to your friends.
4. Each time a friend successfully opens or links a PayMaya account in Messenger, you (sender) will get P50 in your PayMaya account. Your friend (receiver), in return, will also receive P50 in his/her PayMaya account.
5. Users can only share the promo message to up to 25 friends, and can then earn a maximum of P1,250 worth of incentives (maximum of 25 successful referrals only).
6. Rewards will be credited to both the sender and receiver within one to three business days after the PayMaya account has been created/linked.

Promo rules:

1. The promo is only available to senders/receivers who have Facebook/Messenger accounts created before December 6, 2017.
2. Users must have a PayMaya account linked to Messenger before referring a friend in order to earn the incentive.
3. Rewards will not be given if a pre-existing PayMaya in Messenger user creates another account with a different number.
4. If a new user (receiver) is invited by multiple people, the referral will be attributed to the account (sender) who referred the new user last.
5. The promo message cannot be shared to a group of contacts or a Page (must be shared individually).
6. A user who is invited cannot unlink and relink accounts.
7. Any users who receive an invite and create/link a PayMaya account after the end of the promo will not receive any incentives.
8. The sender and the receiver cannot have the same PayMaya account. The receiver cannot link a PayMaya account that has been previously linked to another user’s Messenger account.
9. The promo is open to Android users only.
