STORYLINE: A drama musical starred by Kyline Alcantara and Therese Malvar directed by Mark A. Reyes.

But because both are inclined with MUSIC, their families will cross paths.

    *****

I had the privilege to question Kyline Alcantara, Therese Malvar and Manolo Pedrosa during the blogcon, though it is not connected with the drama but still I ask their personal thoughts about HOW THEY DEAL WITH THEIR STALKERS and HOW THEY MOTIVATE THEMSELVES IF THEY FEEL LOW-ESTEEM or HAVING DEPRESSION.

Since millennials now are the called the GENERATION SNOWFLAKE or SNOWFLAKE GENERATION more prone to taking offence and having less psychological resilience compared with the previous generations, being too emotionally vulnerable to cope with views that challenge their own.

Kyline Alcantara and Therese Malvar, together with their co-star Manolo Pedrosa

They all both answered that they don't mind their stalkers/online bashers, though some are helpful but they are extra careful in any way.

Regarding motivation, they have their family and friends and with prayers it helped them boost their self-esteem to get up and work.

At their young age, friends will become more important to them, but parents should always there to guide them because they still learning. We need to teach them positively, accept and support them, for those are important part of the journey to adulthood.

    *****

After the blogcon, they proceeded to an afternoon full of fun and kilig at Kapuso Mall Show held at Gaisano Mall Toril in Davao City.

And yesterday, March 16, they joined the Kapuso Float and tour the streets of Davao City for the Parada Davaoeña.

    EVENT 2. March 16 - KARA MIA

    Source WP:NFCC#4

STORYLINE: A drama fantasy series lead by Barbie Forteza and Mika Dela Cruz.

KARA MIA are two faces in a single body, where Kara (Barbie) and Mia (Mika) in the back of Kara. Once they discover that they can separate their face with its own body every morning and back to original form at night a twist of story can entized the mind of the viewers. Sound interesting, isn't it?

    *****

I also ask them their personal thoughts regarding HOW THEY DEAL WITH ONLINE BASHERS and if they agree to the theory that BAD PUBLICITY is A GOOD PUBLICITY.

Award-winning Kapuso actresses Barbie Forteza and Mika dela Cruz, who banner the newly launched primetime show Kara Mia, joined by their leading men Jak Roberto and Paul Salas

They have different views about dealing with online bashers, but the only common thing they've said is that they LOVE IT how it goes even it's negative or positive. They are overwhelmed with what happened with the KARA MIA memes and they all appreciated it.

And about publicity, they all agree that even they're saying awful things about them, publicity is publicity.

They are all artists and they belong to PUBLIC INTEREST. For the parents of these teens, I salute your dedication to your children. Continue to guide them well and to safeguard their private lives to public interests.

In my home Davao City, Philippines, seeing customers pull cash from their wallets is increasingly rare. In fact, most of my friends and acquaintances are using CASHLESS TRANSACTION in paying their bills, but not all, some have an app for paying online but don't know what to do with it.

Fund transfers are an integral part of the Philippine financial ecosystem. It's widely used for sending money for personal purposes such as for family needs, bills payments, or even paying online services.

    EXPERIENCE THE BEST OF GCASH

Traditionally, lining up making a bank transactions in paying bills or to deposit and exchange notes, we have to visit our banks to do all of that and waiting for our queues in the bank is very hassle and time consuming.

Queue waiting moment is tiring. And I agree to that!

    Mr. Joseph Albert Lim

VP - Financial Institutions and Strategy

    Mynt (Globe Fintech Innovations, Inc.)

As our country is moving towards a CASHLESS ENVIRONMENT, the nation's leading mobile money service GCash have fully rolled out its fund transfers service, allowing customers to transfer funds from their GCash App to any of the over 30 banks supported nationwide.

Fund Transfer times have been virtually reduced to zero and paper wastes eliminated, as it will take less than 3 minutes to complete a transfer transactions digitally.

    Mr. Ney Villasenor
VP & Group Head Corporate Communications Group

    CONVENIENCE

Philippine fund transfer services are notorious of having exorbitant fees and antiquated paper processes, the former of which depends on a certain percentage of the money you're transferring or a fixed fee, with a turnaround time depending on the volume of people per bank or money transfer service branch.

But what I like about the GCash is that we will no longer to carry wads of cash, plastic cards, or even queue up for ATM withdrawals. It's also safer and easier to spending option especially to travellers. All you need is a smartphone, funds in GCash account, and bank details of the account you are transferring funds to.

    TRACKING

All transactions are recorded, once inputted, they can sit and relaxed and wait for the confirmation message arrives on their device.

Much easier to track down all your bank transaction movements.

    LOWER RISK

If your smartphone is stolen, it's easy to block GCash App remotely. Call or Visit Official FB PAGE @GCashCare immediately. Besides all of your records with GCash App are all secured, it can be extremely difficult to copy and use it without your identity, making it a very safe option.

Go GCash. Get Rebates and More Vouchers!

Just download the GCash App for FREE from the App Store or from the Google Play and sign up for an account and be VERIFIED to get more benefits. Or you can look for @gcashofficial on Messenger and sign up.

This app is also open to use for all networks, be it GLOBE, SMART, SUN, Talk N' Text or TM.

To fund GCash account, a user can visit over 16,000 GCash partner outlets nationwide, like 7-Eleven, SM Business Centers, Robinsons Business Centers, Puregold branches, and Villarica Pawnshop branches and tell the cashier to cash-in to their GCash account.

***In my case, I fund my GCash account at Abreeza 2nd floor using their GCash Kiosk.

Life was good in 2018: I had a successful career, got a solid relationship with my family and relatives, good health and sound finances. Reflecting on all that I've done, all that I've learnt and all that I've grateful for is to say a proper goodbye to 2018.

To recognize and acknowledge all that you've been through, all you've done and all that you're grateful for the past months: the pain, the love, the lessons, the achievements, the people and the memories that marked this year and made it distinct - that stand out in the last 12 months.

Now, it's time to take a moment, need to step back and reflect on the year I've just lived.

Let's start with my HAPPIEST MEMORIES.

    1. My third visit to Mati City, Davao Oriental together with my #TeamDDI (Davao Digital Influencers Bloggers/Vloggers) as Visit Davao Summer Festival launches Summer Fun in Dahican 2018. Still part of VDSF event #longest #widest summer festival, we made a Day Tour trip at Lubi Plantation, Flanax Samal Marathon, covering the 1st Aquathlon at ComVal and the Hataw Dabaw Street Dance and Openstyle Competition.
    2. Davao Digital Influencers Inc. Second Year Anniversary.
    3. Assumption College of Davao Alumni Homecoming, my batch is the host batch!

I still have a lots of happiest memories in 2018, but this are my Top Choices!

    THE CHALLENGES I'VE OVERCOME

I honestly agree, that life satisfaction falls in our 20s and 30s, then hits a trough in our 40s. It's like a midlife crisis for me, a self-eating spiral of discontent. It's not because there's something wrong with my life, or  my mind or my mental health, or my marriage. For me, it's a natural transition, simply due to the passing of time that not everyone experience a sunnier outlook within the early 40s.

I remember myself at 20, I had so many accomplishment and thinking by middle age believing that I will make great profit in the future. I may say I have surpass depression after my failed marriage, living with my parents with my two tweens. Two years without proper financial income, stressed and overworked in my early 40s, these experiences made me rethink and reflect that LIFE should be appreciated everyday!

    BIGGEST LESSON I'VE LEARNT

I am still fortunate. I have a good health (Praise God!) and now I'm in my early 40s, which is very difficult because I noticed this strange feeling of restlessness and discontent but I came out strong and dependent woman for 18 years, I met one goal after another with more success than I'd ever expected. And that gave me a great feeling of satisfaction with my life.

Though sometimes I began to think there must be something wrong with me. I began to think negatively about my personality in some way and that of course compounded the problem. These feelings of discontent and restlessness and even sometimes I think I am not worth it! I'd almost wasted my 2018 life thinking of it.

As we grow older, our values change. It is also helpful to stop comparing our self to others. But if all that makes no difference, give it time!

As it comes to an end, we need to create a vision and a plan to help us to thrive and create a life you love in the year to come. Get ready to say THANK YOU 2018 and get ready to MAKE 2019 a year to remember!

PERSONAL THOUGHTS: Rock N' LOL (LIVE OUR LEGACY)

We have all heard so much about legacy. When you think about legacy you feel a lot happier and resolve. The more I think about it the more I understood that while leaving a legacy is important it is not as important as living your legacy. Correct me here, I prefer that people will talk about me in the way I want to be known when I am alive. I think this is more exciting than thinking of what people will say when I'm no longer alive.

To Live Our Legacy is to LOVE OUR LIFE. We have so many options in life that we have to choose the way we want to. When we appreciate life we will manage ourselves better. It's like loving our life and setting a big goals to make the most of the limited time we have here on earth. So we must appreciate LIFE and LOVE life vice versa. In that our LEGACY will have a great impact that something to be appreciated and cherished.

Get EXCITED about your life. Once you love your life, be enthusiastic. Think of the opportunities ahead and experience this world as it is. Make yourself the so-called PROJECT HAPPINESS. A relationship that planted with trust even if we experience the ups and down, in spite of the obstacles each one of us is facing still we need to see beauty that life has to offer.

Your CHARACTER & ATTITUDE towards everything in life play a greater role going forward and onward. Keep looking for a brighter side. The character and attitude will be reflected in the way other people treat you. If you are positive it will attract abundance and joy. And if you are grateful about your life you will experience joy. Why am I linking LEGACY here? Because unless you feel happiness it doesn't matter how much outer success you will have because you will never enjoy it. What I mean here is that, savor the small moments and revere life -BE GRATEFUL!

To LIVE OUR LEGACY  is to INSPIRE OTHERS. Be always a good role model, always be a lookout to set great example that will help inspires everyone around you. Inspiring others to achieve also their goals will help you leave a LASTING LEGACY.

There you have it on how you can LIVE OUR LEGACY now. Living your legacy will ensure you leave a lasting legacy.

Why the battle against head lice just got very serious - that nits and lice don't just infest our children and getting rid of "itchy and scratchy" can be a hard work for us parents. Now a whole new industry is growing to offer a solution to this itchy problem.

LICEALIZ is a head lice treatment shampoo with conditioning formula. An active ingredient found in it is PYRETHRIN which kills lice and nits fast. Licealiz is a product of LAMOIYAN CORPORATION, a non-toxic and is safe to use regularly to keep lice from coming back. It comes in 60ml plastic bottles - LICEALIZ Regular and LICEALIZ SOOTHING COOLNESS with flip top cover for only PHp71.75 and also available in 10ml sachet for only PHp12.75.

I'm sorry. There's no better way to describe that pretty itchy, head lice that warm on our children's Planet Scalp, sifting wisps with their antennae and as Dra. Lumira M. Lagapa describe it during the Kilusang Kontra Kuto Year 3 at Don Juan Dela Cruz Central Elemenatry School, Toril, Davao City, that creepily put it as the "taking of blood as meal" of the two beasts on our children's hair. Some are a slow, creeping thaw on head. Others, a fleeting tweak.

    Dra. Lumira M. Lagapa MD
District Health Office, Toril District, Davao City

According to a study conducted by the Department of Education and the University of the Philippines, head lice infestation is still considered as the second most common health problem in the Philippines public schools next to tooth decay. While it may not be a fatal condition, attention must still be given to this persistent condition which commonly found in school. But lice can also move from adult to adult. You might have hugged a colleague who has caught them from his/her children. They can ping from the static of a comb or maybe you tried on a hat and a louse moved into its new home.

Before the late 90's, life was simpler but no good solution to the louse problem. I remember when I was young and all of my cousins are infected with lice (well except me because my mother always take good care of my hair - Special thanks to my Mama for that!), my aunt slather mayonnaise on to the infested head of my two cousins; olive oil, coconut oil, vinegar. Sometimes gas that beep upon execution, or use suyod to suck out the worst. They also tried to apply heated straighteners, like hair ironing, then stow bedding in the freezer to kill any off-head survivors. Some use dimethicone treatments (which is not safe especially to children). Others try everything and curse at end.

Head lice have been around as long as humans, they have been picked, preserved, and pried from the teeth of a comb. But how can we prevent and stop them from coming back?

    1. Use Licealiz for twice a week for two weeks to treat. Once a week for two weeks to prevent.
    2. Avoid borrowing hair comb, hat, face towel and hair accessories.
    3. Every week, have a hair check.

Head lice is often overlooked or disregarded despite its many negative impacts, but this problem can be solved with correct information and appropriate control methods. LICEALIZ Head Lice Treatment Shampoo is an effective solution to eliminate and prevent head lice.
