I am so grateful to be part of this event, the 1st National Information Convention held here in Davao City.

It really helps me in my personal growth and evolution, and it has helped me in so many ways, to enjoy life, my job and I am able to express my thoughts and improve by knowing the information dissemination mechanisms of different media and having an efficient information dissemination plan for disaster pre-warning. Furthermore, governments can make scientific and correct decisions to transmit information, based on different criteria such as information source and services.

I was really thinking it would start early, with Monday the 19th being my latest estimate, especially this is a government event. Maybe it's just me because I am used to wake up early when I have a schedule for morning session. It can be frustrating, but that's life!

Well, it's never too late to innovate while waiting for the program to start. I open my phablet since the event was sponsored by PLDT and we have free access of Wi-Fi inside SMX Convention Center. I started to search and read NEWS and viola! I happened to read many information, but I don't know if it is TRUE or FAKE NEWS.

Getting too much information it's like everything's building up inside your head. Like your brain is crowded with questions and about to explode. And you will try to filter it all, but there's too much and reading or saying anything is too hard, especially if its not true!

Under BUILD BUILD BUILD a golden age of infrastructure is among the top priorities of Duterte Administration with public spending on infrastructure targeted to reach 8-9 trillion pesos from 2017-2022 (USD160 billion to USD170 billion) Infrastructure Spending represents 5.4% to 7.3% of GDP (2017-2022)

Here are some of the DUTERTENOMICS infrastructure development that are COMPLETED and COMING SOON:

1. CLARK INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT coming in 2020. Clark International Airport and expressed optimism that this big-ticket project will be completed on target in 2020. The project is under the Duterte administration’s Build Build Build Infrastructure Plan which will implement high-impact infrastructure projects by providing mass transport systems to solve congestion in the country’s main urban centers, and create interconnectivity in the whole archipelago.

2. METRO CEBU EXPRESSWAY coming soon 2022.
Travel from Naga City in the south to Danao City in the north will soon take only an hour from the usual three hours. This will become possible with the construction of 74-km Metro Cebu Expressway which is expected to start this year 2018 and be finished before the end of President Duterte’s term in 2022. The expressway is divided into three phases — from Talisay City to Cebu City and then to Mandaue City; from Consolacion to Liloan to Compostela to Danao City; and from Naga City to Minglanilla town.

3. LAGUNA LAKE HIGHWAY to open this year, 2018.
Taytay to Bicutan in 30 minutes from 1 hour. The P140-million, 1.3 km road includes a 3 meter wide space for bikers and joggers, a first of its kind for a highway in the Philippines.

4. NEW BACOLOD ECONOMIC HIGHWAY coming soon 2022.

Phase 1 of P4.8B of New Bacolod Economic Highway kicks off last Friday, Feb.16, 2018

5. DAVAO CITY COASTAL ROAD coming soon 2022.
Starting at the Gulf View Section for the P19.8B, already implemented last year.

6. DAVAO CITY BYPASS coming soon 2022.

Construction of the Davao City Bypass Road project will start next year 2019. This will decrease the travel time as it will offer an alternate route for easier road access. This will connect Toril, Davao City and Panabo City, Davao del Norte.

7. NLEX-SLEX CONNECTOR ROAD coming soon 2021.
An 8km all elevated 2x2 highway extending the NLEX southward from the end segment 10 in C3 Road Caloocan City to PUP Sta. Mesa, Manila and connect to Skyway Stage 3 and traversing mostly along PNR rail track.

8. PANGUIL BAY BRIDGE coming soon 2021.

PRRD as the new story-teller, many people resisted him and a number continue to do so. They do not like his language, his actions and doubt his intentions. Many in the campaign then are not in government now. Many in government now were not in the campaign then. There are those in government who voted for other candidates. There is therefore a challenge in terms of messaging:

My Say:

Now, don't get me wrong, I listen to various kinds of music. But rock is like popular music's home base. Everyone, even those who aren't rock fans, know at least one rock song. And majority of the genres no doubt have their origins in some form of rock. Plus, it's flexible! So many sub genres of rock exists, as well as fusion genres to suit any mood. While, like I said before, I listen to different kinds of music, my early years were heavily shaped by influential artists inclined with my parents musical interests. The Carpenters in particular is like home to me - though soft rock, easy listening, and adult contemporary music genre ( and I say that it greatly influences me in so many ways in my growing years).

And I am glad to hear the music of Gabrielle Gross. I didn't expect that at her age she can deliver such music that takes the most skill and deliver it with creativity. A lot of her age don't accept this genre of music yet because it is so different from everything else. But that's what MUSIC all about, so I think time will come that it will grow in popularity, they will embrace the kind of music Gabrielle had --- cool styles, such as chill, more relaxing and quiet, and more meaningful!

After an hour of driving south from downtown Davao to Malagos, Calinan, I find myself carefully guided in the dark rainy and uneasy streets leading to what seems to be in the middle of nowhere. A fearful apprehension within the darkness that you will find only you - alone entering a new kind of Halloween experience: "Mga Handuraw sa Baul".

Not your typical Halloween affair for your family and friends but a fun-filled activity from morning to night starting with treats & trivia games (Halloween Edition), music fest, horror movie watching, horror costume contest, food fest and more....

Definitely creepy from the moment you arrive, walking down an unlit, unpaved walk way to reach what to appears to be a rustic forest campground.

In reality, by day, the resort is a tourist attraction. But at night, for this season, the creative Malagos Team headed by Ms. Charisse Puentespina (Malagos Garden Resort Managing Director) brought a new atmosphere to this resort.

One of the added attraction is bringing in 6 guests at a time through a lighthearted, but simultaneously spooky 10-15 minutes Malagos Horror House experience.

Entering the horror house is to know what happened to the college students who where out there to film a documentary on the famous suburb Purok Dos.

Naturally the students disappeared and no one has been able to find them, so the guests will enter the said place and search or discover what horrible fate they have met.

Stepping to the darkened hallway, you can really feel the creepiness inside, without knowing who or what lurking with you ahead, its a nerve-wracking idea for sure that you have to keep your breath in and out and not to hold on or to stumble across, pushing and pulling your friends deeper and deeper into the forest until you reach the barrio and the house itself. It was a different experience because not one but three location that you have to surpass compared to the last year concept they only have one location, the abandoned hospital. Which is also designed by the team of eight architects from C. Puentespina Design and Architects (CPDA).

Guests who are willing to give themselves over to this experience and play along will surely find great fun, just like we did with my Davao Digital Influencers team.

Mga Handuraw sa Baul is somewhat a light to scare activity, a new immersive experience and a welcome addition to Davao events ( season like Halloween) scene. For me, this is a fantastic departure from the usual "Boo" scares of a haunted houses, not only focusing on it but rather simple, yet entertaining event from day to night.

Though yearly, Malagos Garden Resort held event like this on a rainy day -- just a word of warning for next Halloween season: Wear long pants, bring jackets and shoes you do not value..hahahaha..just wear comfy shoes. I will be glad to be invited again next year and see myself running away from the dangers that lurk within the darkened forest of Malagos.

I admit when it comes to putting finances in order I am that person who needs financial planner, but that was when I'm still young & single. To end something, must have a new beginning. It's like a relationship with your love one's, you started it great with so much memories, but some good things must come to an end one way or another. While the end of moments are capitalized upon, it is still important for us to focus on, to stand up again and begin to form another YOU (group) to know that we exist - TO ENGAGE. TO INFLUENCE. AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

The word "END" has many definitions. A final part. A period of time. A conclusion. A termination. To STOP! But for me personally, END is just a beginning.

So hard to end a relationship that you put your trust and your heart to it. Any relationship that isn't built with a secure foundation of faith will break. It's like in a group, if you don't trust your members - you will struggle.

To end is an outcome worked toward a greater possibilities.

As an Influencers, you have to encourage and led others to grow personally, socially and spiritually while offering them variety of tools that will enable them to continue to grow. Luckily, I am in that group and it is a SEC Registered and now a BIR Registered. <:-P

A Year In Review

It's been a tough year for us as a new organization. Particularly a challenging year for many of us, from incredibly divisive ending from the past and sudden change of atmosphere.

It is a challenging year for me as well. I've become the Davao Digital Influencers Membership Coordinator, gone through an unusual professional setbacks, and experienced many of growing pains that come along together with the members - to get to know them (that sometimes) I have to ask questions from them personally.

Still, in spite of these challenges, we remind ourselves that there's always light after the dark. That #TeamDDI have that Positivity, whether personal or business - it is a choice rather than an outcome.

Let's Celebrate!

God provides us is enough reason to celebrate! It's now time to celebrate the opportunities that our group have had for a year, wherein we have to focus on a beginning, where each is not only a member but part of a One Big Happy Family!

And to challenge and encourage members to become leaders and a good influencers. That someday they will lead the group and have that privilege of impacting and changing more lives.

This is my journey and I thank God that I become one of the founding members of the Davao Digital Influencers. I have laughed, cried, gone through heartaches, adjustments, struggles, disappointment, happy, sad, etc..., but still I survived every activities & events I attended. I'm not alone - I have a team that will always be there to uplift, encourage, inspire and run with me all the way!

Taytay to Bicutan in 30 minutes from 1 hour. The P140-million, 1.3 km road includes a 3 meter wide space for bikers and joggers, a first of its kind for a highway in the Philippines.

4. NEW BACOLOD ECONOMIC HIGHWAY coming soon 2022.

5. DAVAO CITY COASTAL ROAD coming soon 2022.
Starting at the Gulf View Section for the P19.8B, already implemented last year.
