December 14, I had the honor of attending the UNINVITED Mediacon Gate Crashers Tour at the prestigious Dusit Thani Hotel. The event was more than just a media conference; it was an immersive experience that perfectly encapsulated the suspenseful and emotional tone of the MMFF 2024 entry, UNINVITED.
A Star-Studded Affair
The mediacon was graced by the presence of the film's powerhouse cast and creative team. Legendary actors Vilma Santos and Aga Muhlach led the roster, sharing their insights and experiences in portraying their deeply layered characters. Hearing Vilma Santos talk about the emotional depth of her role and Aga Muhlach share his process of preparing for such a challenging part was inspiring.
Also present were Director Dan Villegas, the iconic Tirso Cruz III, and talented actors Ketchup Eusebio, Elijah Canlas, and Ron Angeles, who each added their unique perspectives on the film. The chemistry among the cast was palpable, and their excitement for the project was contagious.
