Ever since I first discovered Jolina Magdangal during my high school days, I’ve been captivated by her talent and charm. Through college and beyond, my admiration for her only deepened as I followed her impressive journey in the world of Philippine entertainment. So, when I learned that there was going to be a meet & greet with none other than Jolina and her dynamic partner Marvin Agustin at SM Davao Annex Activity Area, I knew I couldn’t miss it.
The event was everything I had hoped for and more. Walking into the activity area, I was immediately surrounded by an atmosphere of excitement and nostalgia. Fans from all walks of life gathered, each one buzzing with anticipation to see two icons of our beloved romcom dramas up close.
Jolina’s warm smile and genuine interaction with everyone instantly made us feel special, while Marvin’s effortless charm and witty banter kept the energy light and joyful.

I recalled evenings spent laughing and crying while watching classics like "Labs Ko si Babe", the heartwarming moments of the "Dear Friend series", the fiery passion of "FLAMES", the quirky romance in "Labs Kita... Okey Ka Lang?", the playful vibes of "Hey Babe", and the unforgettable moments in "Kung Ayaw Mo, Huwag Mo". These shows and movies weren’t just entertainment—they were the soundtrack to my youth, marking special chapters of my life.
This special meet & greet wasn’t just about reconnecting with old memories; it was also a prelude to something even more exciting. I’m thrilled to share that their much-anticipated movie reunion, EX EX Lovers, is set to hit the big screen on February 12, 2025. The prospect of seeing Jolina and Marvin team up again on the silver screen fills me with immense excitement. Their chemistry has always been magical, and I believe this reunion will not only reignite that spark but also introduce a whole new generation to the timeless allure of Philippine romcoms.
Leaving the event, I felt a profound sense of gratitude.
