A memorable Easter Sunday happened in my entire life as a mother.  Waking up at exactly 3 in the morning to bring my two daughters to witness the "PANAGTAGPO" held at SAN PEDRO CATHEDRAL DAVAO.

A traditional Roman Catholic way of celebrating Easter Sunday wherein the Risen Jesus meet his mourning mother Mary and the Angel from above get the black veil Mary's wearing and they all sing ALLELUIA.

I'm a renewed Christian now and as my respect for my father's will to bring my kids to see this event and for me then to see again how Catholics continue to carry this tradition seriously from generation to generation.

For me Jesus continues to live in our lives, though we respect how Catholic picture the life and death of Christ, his passion as what the church reminds us how Christ saves us from our sins and how he is risen defeating the curse of evil.

Seeing lots of people gather together to worship, sing and pray.  Marks the calendar when Christ rose from the dead after his crucifixion.  It is a belief that is the foundation in which our faith build not only for the Catholics but also the Christians all around the world.

In the near future JESUS CHRIST will return to reign the world.  Because HE promised HE WOULD COME AGAIN.

I'm not an expert doing web and graphics designing but if I'm given correct, proper instructions and followed the task given to me this is very easy.

I've been looking for a SOCIAL MEDIA ICONS for my fashion blog,  GLAMOURHOLIC MOM.  Something that fits my theme, something black to contrast the white templates I used.

Then I bumped into CARRIE LOVES blog site about her FREE DIY SOCIAL MEDIA ICONS.  This is all I want for my blog, I can choose an ICON and COLOR I want for my site.

I downloaded the chosen icon and color I'd like for my site, then unzip the folder transfer it to my shared documents.

Another thing to consider in doing a DIY SOCIAL MEDIA ICON is how you ADD SOCIAL MEDIA ICONS to your site. So I click the link posted on CARRIE LOVES blog,
BEAUTIFUL DAWN DESIGNS. A step to step instruction for a blogger user like me.

All the icons on my shared documents was uploaded to my PHOTOBUCKET Library.

I open a new tab, LOG-IN to my blogger account and in my DASHBOARD I open my blog title GLAMORHOULICMOM.  Click on my LAYOUT.  Click on ADD GADGET.  Then select HTML/JAVA SCRIPT.

    Then I paste this code:

    <a href="URL Goes Here"><img src="Image Direct Link Goes Here" /></a>

I head back to my PHOTOBUCKET ACCOUNT to get my IMAGE DIRECT LINK.  By following what is given on the post.

Open my HTML/JAVA SCRIPT Gadget, paste my DIRECT LINK where it says "IMAGE DIRECT LINK GOES HERE".

    <a href="URL Goes Here"><img src="http://i380.photobucket.com/albums/oo250/rainepal/pinterest_zps73b4a278.png" /></a>

Then I add my SOCIAL MEDIA URL. Just open a new tab for your Social Media profile and copy URL.

    <a href="http://pinterest.com/palraine/"><img src="http://i380.photobucket.com/albums/oo250/rainepal/pinterest_zps73b4a278.png" /></a>

    Finish.  I'm done already.

    See how it looks now.

Been a week that I am searching for a nice blog template for my personal domain name.  Last Saturday I had my new template but still I am not satisfied with the look my site has so dull and quiet.  I need something cute, lovely and nice to see.

I have already visualized what should be put on top of my post as my header, a woman with a laptop. My last template on my OL.U.NID blog is a girl holding her laptop while playing bubblegum on her mouth.

The hard part is to search it on the web.  There is a lot of woman with a laptop photos but none of them suit my taste.  I need something with an animation touch.  Then I type "woman templates for blogger", I've seen this one on the Google search that caught my attention.

I super love it!  Really love it.  From the designs and styles, it's PERFECT FOR MY PERSONAL BLOG.

I click to visit the page and I come to know that it was a WOMEN'S MINISTRY FREE TEMPLATE coming from the AMY BAYLISS site.  I read all the instructions stated on her site but on my dismay I can't download the template anymore.  I said to myself that I don't need another template all I need is a header for my site. Then at the button part of the template photo it say's there "get copy for .png header to upload", great read I can use the header itself!  I go back to the web search, click View Original Image then download it.

Next, I have to change the name "all about Women's Ministry" to my name "PAL RAINE".  I just edit all the text indicated in the header using picmonkey.com.  Then I put the name of Ms. Amy Bayliss below as a simple gesture of crediting it back to her, without her site I cannot see this wonderful and lovely banner that I am using now.

By the way, so that I will receive updated post of Amy Bayliss I subscribed through her email.  To know more about her site visit HERE.

    WOMAN ON PAPER MONEY(Bills)

    WOMAN IN COINS

March 8 to be exact is the International Women's Day.  His exhibit started last Monday and will end tomorrow, March 15.

So glad that I got to see THE FIRST EXHIBIT IN THE PHILIPPINES: THE FIRST WOMAN ON STAMP, COINS and BILLS happened only here in Davao City.  And proudly showcasing a once in a a lifetime information about our great woman with great advocacy, fighting for the rights of woman internationally.

Collections of stamps, coins, and bills way back Spanish colonial period, revolutionary period, American regime, Japanese and Philippine Republic.

STAMP of the PHILIPPINE FIRST WOMAN GENERAL
    Heneral Agueda Kahabagan

Little did we know that there is a paper money for TANDANG SORA 100 peso bill, was never circulated in Philippine currency due to the fact that the only money(highest income) that being given to the Filipino that time is PHp50.  So they remove the 100 peso bill and make it a CENTAVO(that time sentimos has BIG VALUE) in Philippine currencies.

And he had also coins and bills from different countries.

He had a collection of stamps of our two former Ms. Universe.

I've learned so much from him, very educational and informative.  Great collections indeed.

Have a great time chatting with Mr. Rene Adapon, and he made this shot for me.  Thanks sir for allowing me to have a nice interview with you.

March is the beginning of summer here in the Philippines.  Hot weather is experienced now, generally that we need to plunge to water all the time.

It was an unscheduled activity yesterday, March 3, Sunday.  And the children are bored staying in the house facing and playing their android tablets all the time.

SUMMER IS HERE!  Okay need to get that beach outfits that looks cool with this temperature.

Time to go to the beach and have that SUMMER FUN experience.

Knowing that we're late going to PARADISE ISLAND PARK and BEACH RESORT, we arrive their at 2PM and we only have 2hrs+ to enjoy our stay because last trip is scheduled at 5PM.

    ENTRANCE FEE:  *PHp200 DAY TOUR
                   (Adult and Kids Rate)
                   *PHp300 BEACH OVERNIGHT
                      >PHp30 discount for SC

Actually my kids did not enjoy their swimming here because of our limited time and at the same time my camera got low bat.  Need to find place that let us enjoy more our summer outing and to charge my gadgets too.

So we've transfer our SUMMER FUN outing at GARDENS BY THE BAY(formerly Maryknoll)
    just fronting SAMAL ISLAND.

They don't have beach swimming here only swimming pool.

Upon entering need to pay PHp50/each.  And PHp100 for the use of swimming pool.  Entrance fee is equivalent for food.  That is why if you want to go swimming you need not to bring baon.

Here my kids did enjoy their swimming. I too thanks the management for allowing me to charge my camera with no extra cost.

The place is inviting but don't have an attractive atmosphere what I love here is that all the staffs are approachable, friendly and smiling. Especially their lifeguards, though a bit strict for implementing rules but I'd like their presence.

The foods are great too.  They have a restaurant fronting the bay, that's why they call their place GARDEN BY THE BAY.

My children got hungry, need to use my 3 meal stubs courtesy from our entrance fee. Just present it to the cashier assigned and choose a dish equivalent from your pass. I choose 2 KINDS NOODLES amounting to PHp145.  And because the bringing of baon is not allowed in the pool (for me as their first time visitor they allow me to bring my siopao inside the pool as long as I have to buy drinks from their restaurant.  Okay no problem I do understand rules of business. Hahahahaha....

My orders were delivered by waiters to the pool area.

    TWO-KINDS NOODLES
    PHp145

SIOPAO (our baon from Shanghai Davao) PHp20/each
    PEPSI 1.2 Liter   PHp75
Explosive bundles of fun just in time for summer and to have that relaxing moment with the kids and my mom I enjoyed it very much!
